Interactive Web Developer, Edina, MN:
Technical Savvy - We need someone who can talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk. Someone who can tear it up with JavaScript/AJAX, jQuery, JSON, CSS, etc... Client Savvy - Here's where the talk-the-talk comes into play. This individual can't just be a CSS wizard, but also needs to be able to persuade client decision makers and explain in non-geek terms how development/design works.

This person will eventually be mentoring and managing more junior interactive developers too, but we do want someone who wants to stay hands-on, even in the long-term. We want someone who can teach us a thing or two. Multi-multi tasker - This is a broad role with a hunt-and-gather mentality. One second designing, the next selling an idea to a manager, and the next, talking to a junior developer about what's new and cool. If you're a one-job-at-a-time kind of developer, this won't be for you. Enthusiastic and entrepreneurial spirit - ILM is well established, don't get us wrong. We've been around and growing since 2002, even a best place to work for small businesses in 2007. But this is a new initiative. It’s very exciting and we want someone who can do a deep dive and get others just as excited about this as we are.
